Karol G caused quite a stir when she went to go get a bite to eat in her hometown of Medellín.

La Nena de Medellín, showed up at a restaurant where hundreds of devoted fans were outside hoping to get a glimpse of the reggaeton superstar. Karol G ended up on top of the vehicle she was traveling in, so she could give her fans what they wanted.

One of the videos posted online shows Karol G, who was dressed in baggy pants, a t-shirt, sneakers, and a baseball cap, sitting on the roof of the vehicle before she rises to her feet to greet her adoring fans. First, she pumps her fist in the air and then makes a heart with her hands.

The camera pans down the street from the vehicle to show all the people who were there to greet Karol G before dinner. We’re not sure if the restaurant had planned for a table for 700, but that would’ve called for one massive tip.

Even if fans didn’t have a seat at her table, that didn’t stop onlookers from continuing to snap photos and take video during the celebrity sighting. After a few seconds, Karol G was helped off the roof of the car and blew a few more kisses to her fans before calling it a night.

With so many fans out there, it was only a matter of time before social media users got to see more videos posted online from different vantage points. This fan was probably the closest to the action.

Karol G is currently on her Bichota Tour. She delivered a pair of performances this past weekend at the Atanasio Girardot Stadium in Medellín. It looks like she hung around her hometown for a couple more days. She’s scheduled to be in Texas for stops in the Houston and Dallas areas this week.
