While promoting the female-led Ghostbusters reboot, Leslie Jones revealed that she, too, is on team Selena. She and her cast mates – Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, Melissa McCarthy (as well as director Paul Feig) – chatted about the movie in a 19-minute Facebook Live interview for Fandango Cine. At the very beginning, Jones contorts her face as Caceres speaks in rapid Spanish. “I didn’t know you’d be speaking full-on Spanish,” Jones joked.

And though Jones said Spanish confused her (i.e. like with the fact that the DR’s name is flipped in Spanish), she did flaunt her own skills. “I can sing ‘Como la Flor,’” she said, before breaking into song. While it’s not perfect, she learned the lyrics phonetically, just like Selena once did. And she’s sang the song twice in the span of four days, so I think we can officially call her a fan.

Now, it’s as good a time as ever to take it back to 2008 – the year that Selena superfan Robyn McGhee posted a video of herself singing “Si Una Vez” at work. She sings in near-perfect Spanish, despite not speaking the language. “Me and Karla have nothing to do at work again,” she wrote. “So here we are recording me again singing my favorite song in the world. I laughed at the end cause I was a lil’ shamed and still in disbelief of my love for Spanish music, especially Selena. (Even though, I really don’t know that much Spanish or what they be saying.)”

Check McGhee below, and then come back and watch it once a week, because it’s the perfect way to start/end your week:
