Like something straight out of Marry Me, it looks like singer Maluma is a hopeless romantic in real life.
During a recent concert in Frankfurt, Germany, the Colombian singer helped a couple advance to the next stage of their relationship by allowing them to get engaged on stage.
Maluma, himself, looked lovestruck as he watched the man take a knee and propose to his girlfriend. In the background of the video that Maluma posted on his Instagram, you can see him leaning on top of a piano with his hands under his chin watching the special moment occur. Was that a sparkle in his eyes?
“This just happened in Frankfurt, Germany!!” Maluma wrote alongside the video. “LONG LIVE LOVE. (Look at my face please).”
When the young woman accepted the proposal, Maluma raised his arms up like he just hit a game-winning basket at the buzzer and jumped towards the edge of the stage. Then, he went back to the piano, picked up a microphone, and walked up to the couple to confirm her answer as fans cheered loudly inside the venue.
“Yes, or no?” Maluma asked the young woman and then put the mic up to her face so she could speak. Sure enough, her answer was an unwavering yes, which caused Maluma to raise his arms in excitement once again. Maybe when the happy couple sets a date, Maluma will get an invitation to attend.
