McDonald’s is bringing back their Christmas special’s countdown and this time they are doing it right. Mariah Carey, the queen of Christmas (no other opinion matters), is teaming up with the fast-food chain to bring 12 days of free food with purchase through the McDonald’s app.
We all know that Carey is the queen of Christmas and everything she touches during the holiday season is special. As such, the foods offered during the special will have festive packaging to honor the fact that Carey is using her Christmas powers to make this special countdown happen.
“Some of my favorite memories with my kids are our family trips to McDonald’s, and of course, each of us has our go-to order,” Carey said in a statement. “Bringing together some of our favorite food from McDonald’s with my all-time favorite season is a holiday wish come true.”
The free items are available to all people who place an order for at least $1 through the McDonald’s app at participating locations. Tax is not included in the $1 threshold so make sure you take that into account. Just get yourself a beverage and enjoy a free sandwich.
