Nobel-Winning Author Mario Vargas Llosa Left Wife of 50-Years for Enrique Iglesias’ Mom

Look, I don’t condone cheating, but Enrique Iglesias’s mom, Isabel Preysler, just OutJLo-ed JLo in the age-defying looks department.  At 64, Preysler is a notorious femme fatale who is apparently considered so irresistible that she counts the “Pearl of Manila” as one of her nicknames. I guess it’s not entirely shocking, given that she’s responsible for bringing this into the world:

In one of the more WTF bits of news to come out this week, Preysler is being accused of seducing one of Latin America’s greatest living novelists, Peru’s Nobel Prize-winning Mario Vargas Llosa, away from his wife of 50 years. The 79 year-old Peruvian writer reportedly told his wife Patricia that he was “done” and ready for real happiness. “I don’t have much time left,” he said, according to a Peruvian TV station. The split happened a mere days after Mario and Patricia celebrated their 50th anniversary. Cold blooded.

Media has been quick to label Preysler a homewrecker, which seems a little unfair – it takes two to tango. With that said, Hola! is on team Isabel, and they don’t care who knows it. “Their love story shows that dreams can come true,” they said. “There are second chances, there is joy after sorrow and love can surprise you at any stage of life.”

Maybe Vargas Llosa can give Enrique some tips in the lyric-writing department, just sayin’.
