By now we know that children will pick the most surprising birthday party themes if left to their own devices. And that’s exactly what happened in La Paz in Mexico. 3-year-old Julián Kalev dressed up like Dr. Simi, the mascot of pharmacy chain Farmacias Similares, and the results are everything and more.
Julián wore an inflated white suit and shoes. When he appeared before his guest, the young boy almost disappeared in the costume, and he seemingly struggled to walk at a quick pace. But that didn’t stop him from entertaining his guests. When the music came on, Julián adorably danced for all, imitating Dr. Simi’s iconic dances.
Julián’s dad, Julio César Mendoza Carachure, shared a video of the August 12 party recently, where it has received more than seven million views. Apparently, the young boy has always considered himself a fan of Dr. Simi’s dancing. “We asked him if he wanted Mickey Mouse, Spider-Man, or the Minion, and no, he kept saying Simi,” Mendoza told El Universal.
