Great summer journeys start with Remezcla G.P.S.

There are endless events that you’ll want to consider going to this summer if you’re living in New York City. But, you’re going to have to know when and where they are just like with every other damn appointment you try to keep, even the fun ones. I’ve seen people get more lost in this city, than, well, any other place. One time I watched an acquaintance walk in a loop around Central Park, returning to the east side, when he was trying to cross to the west. Tricked ’em. Don’t let that be you (or me for that matter, I followed him, qué boluda!) this summer.

Concerts: In our summer guide you’ll find 20 amazing latin concerts featuring: 3 Ball MTY, Kinky, Calle 13, Buena Vista Social Club, Ana Tijoux, Balkan Beat Box, Chico Trujillo, Ximena Sarinana appearing with Mala Rodriguez, Celso Piña, Criolo, Los Autenticos Decadentes and MORE.

Festivals: We got plenty; some of the film, music, food and cultural varieties: Latin Alternative Music Conference, Bryant Park Film Festival, Northside Festival, Celebrate Brooklyn, Brasil Summer Fest, Museum Mile Festival and MORE.

Parties: Si si si, we got those too. We’ll lead you to ones that are spinning rock, electronic, tropical and more: WEPA, iBomba, Nacotheque, Nublu, Burdel Dali Global Dance and MORE.

Places: We won’t lead you in circles. We will lead you to some special spots, including parks to play soccer, beaches w/o cops, and art exhibits: Fort Tilden Beach, City Island, Pier 40, Carribean Crossroads, Rockaway, McCarren Park and pool, Coney Island and MORE.
