Dedicate your Thursday night to a good cause at a great party. Join Pacha Massive, Martin Vejarano (of La Cumbiamba eNeYé), and an array of DJs, as they hope to raise money for New York local and friend-to-all, Nena “La Nena” Sierra. Nena recently fell four stories down an elevator shaft in Colombia. High costs and lack of medical coverage have inspired Eclectic Media and others to throw this benevolent bash tonight at 8 p.m., unabashedly titled “Down The Shaft – Benefit Debauchery.” Despite the lack of tact in the title, it’s a wonderful cause.
But the title also suggests that this isn’t your average benefit event with black ties and boring raffles.
