This isn’t a Halloween trick—Kraft Heinz is truly getting in the fall spirit by releasing a pumpkin spice macaroni and cheese as a seasonal treat. Kraft previously launched a JELL-O Pumpkin Instant Pudding and Pie Filling and Pumpkin Spice Marshmallows. The autumnal gourd has become the most bastardized flavor and has been used to enhance almost everything including coffee, beer, liquor, tea, creamer, cheese, apple sauce, donuts, bread, chili seasoning, sprinkles, butter, Oreos, Kit Kats, Cheerios, and now, pasta. We can’t even imagine what mind-boggling pumpkin-spiced food goods will be offered next.

Most of the pumpkin spice foods seem straight-up unnecessary which has aligned the flavor with the term ‘basic’. The craze began over 17 years ago when Starbucks launched the cult-favorite Pumpkin Spice Latte (PSL). Pumpkin spice products usually use a mixture of cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice.

If you’re a fan of all things calabaza you’ll have to get in line to cop a box of the limited edition mac n’ cheese which is only available in Canada. There’s a waiting list and only 1,000 people will get the pumpkin mac product. The box is equipped with dry macaroni noodles, pumpkin spice flavored powder to add to the cheese powder, and a hearty dose of cinnamon to sprinkle on top.

Don’t fret, you can make a healthy alternative at home by making pumpkin zoodles and top with your favorite cheese sauce and a fall-inspired spice mix. If you can’t stand the idea of another pumpkin spice food product here are seven Latin American drinks to make this fall instead.

Twitter users sounded off about the news. Some were thrilled and eager to get their hands on the box of pasta while others can’t wrap their minds around why pasta would ever need pumpkin spice.

@kasie: I mean it’s always too early for pumpkin spice Mac and cheese, which SHOULD NOT BE A THING.

@AndreaButera: Wow. I think we found the one mac n’ cheese I won’t eat…. Sorry…

@TerryAFarrell: It’s time to stop the madness. Just stop it. Now! Pumpkin spice belongs in dessert. Nowhere else. Not coffee. Not spam. And certainly not in macaroni and cheese.

@luv_mydachshund: @kraftmacncheese Is it true you are releasing Pumpkin Spice Mac & Cheese?? If so, YES! Cannot wait to try it!

@bonbonmonkey672: Well I do love pumpkin spice and mac&cheese. So I would try it.
