Yesterday (Saturday, 7.7.07), fellow Remezcla editora Núria and I revisited our radio roots and visited Rob Weisberg at WFMU for a special edition of his weekly radio show Transpacific Sound Paradise. The purpose? A preview of this week’s Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC).
We played un poquito de to’, starting out with the classics (Café Ta, Soda, Molotov), moving onto bands who’ll be performing this coming week (Zoé, Pacha Massive, Todosantos, Uli…), past LAMC favs (Superaquello, Kinky), and onto our wish list of folks the LAMC should have brought (Porter, Javiera Mena, MiMa…)
