We can’t think of a better way to start 2022 than with Roselyn Sanchez on our TV screens. Fresh off her Latin Grammys hosting gig, Sanchez, who recently starred in FOX’s Fantasy Island, is now set to co-host Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2022. The show is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and is set to feature several countdowns and celebrations from around the country.
Sanchez will oversee the iconic show’s first-ever Spanish language countdown in Puerto Rico.
“I’m so proud to be co-hosting @RockinEve LIVE from Puerto Rico for the show’s first-ever Spanish language countdown! 🎉🇵🇷,” the actress wrote on Instagram.
Daddy Yankee will join Sanchez and deliver a musical performance from the Puerto Rico Convention Center. The show is set to include more than five hours of musical performances, though not all performers have yet been announced, with a full list expected in the coming weeks.
While Sanchez headlines from Puerto Rico, Ryan Seacrest, and Liza Koshy will be back in New York’s Time Square, Ciara will be in Los Angeles, and Billy Porter in New Orleans.
The Puerto Rico countdown to New Year’s will be the first of the night, taking place at 11 p.m. Eastern Time.
