It has been eight months since COVID-19 has made its mark in the U.S., and Salma Hayek is over it. Don’t worry, she is still playing it safe and following social distancing measures but the actress is ready for a vaccine to get here ASAP.
On her Instagram profile, Hayek shared a video with a supercut of her COVID testing experience.
In each frame, you can see her grimace as the swab is inserted up each nostril for several seconds. “I’ve had it. Ya estoy harta. J’en ai marre,” she posted as she let her followers in on her experiences. After each test, you can see her rub her nostrils, and squirm a bit, as she recovers from the brief pain of having a swab all the way up your nose.
Though she doesn’t share why she was tested so many times, with some of Hollywood back to work, one can assume it’s part of the safety measure in place to keep everyone involved in productions safe.
While Hayek simply shared a few moments of how she is making sure to stay safe during the pandemic, by sharing her test experience, she also let many Latino fans see what the testing experience is like. Some of the comments asked what the test felt like, with some fans replying “it feels like they are trying to tickle your brain.”
The Latino community are some of the hardest hit by the pandemic, and having influential celebrities, like Hayek, might encourage more Latinos to follow safety measures and get tested.
