As three Latino contractors packed up for the day in late July, a 30-year-old white man pushing his 2-year-old daughter in a stroller who came across them went into a racist tirade. The men’s trailer got stuck on the sidewalk and blocked the path, which was enough to send Sean Ryan Felger into a rage. He parked the stroller a few feet away and began to berate the men. He cursed at them and reportedly told them to “go back to Mexico.” And in video footage of the encounter, Felger is seen shoving one of the men.

In a statement, Scott McKee, the spokesperson for the Springfield, Oregon police, stated that “the surprised men did not retaliate and watched as Felger pushed the stroller westward.”

Police released images of Felger, who had attempted to go incognito by shaving his head and beard. It’d take less effort and be more effective to not be a racist, because authorities still arrested him Saturday and charged him with disorderly conduct, harassment, and second-degree intimidation.
