Shakira and ex-boyfriend Gerard Piqué found themselves at the same venue this past weekend in Barcelona, but it wasn’t the kind of reunion that led anyone to believe that the past was behind them.

On Saturday (September 24), the pop superstar and the fútbol player attended (separately) their 9-year-old son Milan’s baseball game. From photos taken by Splash News and posted by TMZ, Shakira and Piqué stayed far away from each other at the game.

According to reports, Piqué attended the game with his mom and sat on one side of the stands, while Shakira came to support Milan with her mom and friends and sat on the opposite side. At one point, Shakira was pictured distancing herself from everyone when she sat in the dugout alone.

At the game, Shakira was photographed wearing a black, yellow, and white jacket with an orange sign on her back that read, “Keep back.” We’re assuming she was sporting the message to alert the public that she wanted to keep her personal space personal, but it wouldn’t be a surprise if it was meant for Piqué.

Last week, Shakira broke her silence about how her relationship with Piqué ended. Allegations that Piqué was unfaithful to her remain strong.

“I just feel like this is all a bad dream and that I’m going to wake up at some point,” Shakira said. “But no, it’s real. And what’s also real is the disappointment to see something as sacred and as special as I thought was the relationship I had with my kids’ father and see that turned into something vulgarized and cheapened by the media. This is probably the darkest hour of my life.”
