On the first Third Friday of the year, Enrique García AKA Mr. PHX will showcase his photographs at La Phoenikera’s star Latino art spot Palabra. Stop by for great photos, appetizers, drinks (cash bar) and music by Michael Pennington.

Firestage: Long, Cold, Crazy Winter

Downtown Phoenix performance artist, writer, director, master of ceremonies (etc. etc. etc.) Ernesto Moncada, AKA ErNasty, is hosting the emblematic underground monthly occurrence, Firestage. The wildest open-mic/variety show in the Valley welcomes the year MMXIV with great jubilation, performers galore and intense merry-making! Celebrate the best season in Arizona with the most eclectic sideshow in the underground art scene, featuring spoken word, stand-up comedy, poetry, live music, performance art, belly-dance, fire juggling and more.
