A classic jelly slide is pairing off with an iconic luxury bag that sells out in minutes in a brand new collaboration between Brazil’s Melissa and Telfar. The duo announced their first collab on Friday (July 7), which combines both the designer’s signature touch into summer’s latest venerable accessories.

The Melissa x Telfar Clear Drop includes Telfar’s classic shopper tote bags in three sizes: small ($150.00), medium ($200.00), and large ($250.00). Coined by Remezcla as the “forever sold out bag,” these shopper totes feature a fluid design and tubular construction, all in a transparent, lilac-hued Melflex material that is exclusive to Melissa and is 100% recycled PVC.

The collection also features clear jelly slides in the same material and colorway as the shopper bags. The unisex jelly slides include the classic Telfar logo as the straps, along with a small heel.

Users on social media are expressing their excitement for the brand, describing the collab as “for the mf culture” and another user stating “ That Telfar x Melissa drop is everything!!… if you had those Melissa jellies then you know.”

Both Melissa and Telfar are veteran collaborators.

Melissa, known for creating the original fisherman-inspired jelly sandal, launched its first collaboration with Jean-Paul Gaultier in 1983. It has since then partnered with several designers including Marc Jacobs, Thierry Mugler, and more. Telfar Clemens, the star behind the brand, has boasted partnerships with Uggs, Converse, and most recently, Eastpak, which debuted last Spring

The Melissa x Telfar collection is set to drop on July 14th on Telfar’s website, at 12 PM EST.
