Finally a reason to actually update your iOS. The racially diverse emoji Apple promised us in February are finally here, with a veritable rainbow of skin tones – ok fine, just six – available to use. I’m downloading the iOS 8.3 update as I write to see if the taco emoji made the cut so stay tuned for an update (because googling “IS THE TACO EMOJI HERE YET???!?” hasn’t worked so far).
Here’s hoping the folks at Unicode see illustrator Fang’s Selena emoji and make it happen for the next update.
Update: Still no taco emoji, womp womp.
