Though videos may suggest otherwise, Rihanna did more than just dance her way through Cuba during her May visit. While visiting the Caribbean country, RiRi also shot the cover for the November issue of Vanity Fair and looked amazing, even though an intimidating number of people came to see her pose.
In the shoot, Rihanna posed in ’50s style clothing to complement her surroundings. One picture featured Rihanna wearing nothing but a pair of shoes, but it’s the stick figure version based off the original that has made its way onto RiRi’s Instagram.
In the interview, Rihanna gets frank about her relationship with Chris Brown, and even said that as the victim, it’s been unfair for her to be punished over and over. (She was talking directly at you, NFL.)
One of the most controversial parts of her interview came when she spoke about Rachel Dolezal, the white woman who pretended to be black. “I think she was a bit of a hero, because she kind of flipped on society a little bit,” she said. “Is it such a horrible thing that she pretended to be black? Black is a great thing, and I think she legit changed people’s perspective a bit and woke people up.” Not everyone agrees with Rihanna.
