Cardi B took the spotlight during the inaugural WeHo Pride Parade in West Hollywood on Sunday (June 5). The three-day WeHo Outloud Music Festival, which started Friday, was a kickoff to Pride Month.
During the parade on the festival’s final day, Cardi B rode on a float dressed in a rainbow-colored bodysuit and sporting multicolored hair. In one of many videos posted online from the event, she is seen spraying whipped cream into some people’s mouths in the crowd.
The whipped cream is Cardi B’s dessert product, Whipshots, which she launched last December. Whipshots come in three flavors – vanilla, caramel, and mocha. From the video, it looks like she chose vanilla for the occasion.
Joining Cardi B on the float, which was decorated with a white castle and gold throne, was a group of performers dressed as the “Bodak Yellow” rapper from several of her music videos. One person wore a fringed hat like the one Cardi B wears in the music video for her 2018 single “Money.” Another wore a light blue cone bra and matching hot pants from her 2021 single “Up.”
One performer wore a checkered black and white outfit and a short yellow wig to portray Cardi B from her 2018 album Invasion of Privacy. When she wasn’t dolling out whipped cream, she spent some time dancing on her float, too. At one point, she starts shaking it to “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” by GloRilla and Hitkidd.
Cardi B didn’t stay on the float for the entire parade. Later, she took to the street in some blue slide sandals and carried more Whipshots for her fans.
And fans were here for it.
