In her latest Instagram post, Cardi B was a bit misleading when she posted a video of a Christmas tree in her house and added the caption, “The tree up.” We think Cardi B meant “trees” with a capital T.
The Instagram post actually included a series of seven videos. At the beginning of the first video, Cardi B shows off a massive Christmas tree decorated with silver and white ribbons and ornaments, and lights that look like fireflies. She then pans her phone to the left to show another three fully decorated Christmas trees on the other side of the room. Cardi B’s son, Wave, can be seen standing in front of one of the trees.
“You always find him around the Christmas tree,” she says as she watches Wave playing with the ornaments. “Stop it!”
In the fifth video, Cardi B sings the words, “I wish every day was Christmas,” which is actually the title of a Debbie Gibson song, although we doubt that’s what she was singing.
In the sixth video, she shows off a fifth Christmas tree, which she says is the “kids’ Christmas tree.” The tree is decorated with white, red, and green candy canes, white lights, and other colorful ornaments. When she gets closer to the tree, small Disney toys can be seen inside it like Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto, and Daisy Duck.
“Whew, it’s huge,” she said before screaming at her kids to stop running around the other trees. “Beautiful.”
In her last video, Cardi B takes her followers outside to show that the trees in the front of the house are also decorated with white Christmas lights. Maybe Cardi B should come out with her own Christmas album. She could change “WAP” to mean “Wrapping All the Presents.”
