When your parents punished you as a child, it’s likely you protested and complained. But did you ever go so hard that they let you off the hook? That’s exactly what happened when Danna, a young Mexican girl, cried her way out of being punished. In a video uploaded to Facebook by her dad, Xiuhnel Man, the young girl is seen on the floor putting on an Oscar-worthy performance. Her dad, who explains that she disobeyed him and that there are consequences to her actions, has taken away her peluches and a tablet, which absolutely breaks young Danna’s heart.
“It’s that I don’t understand what’s wrong with you,” she says. “I don’t know why you’re doing this to me. You’re the only one who loves me.” Her dad, who says she’s exaggerating and compared her to a telenovela star, says her mother loves her as well. But Danna fires back and says that he shouldn’t do something like this to her, because she loves him.
The about two-minute exchange is both hilarious and will probably remind you of your younger self. In the end, Donna’s father gives up and says, “And once again [the tears] worked.”
