Ricky Martin had a new pair of backup dancers join him on stage at one of his concerts on Monday (July 17). During a performance in Locarno, Switzerland, Martin’s 14-year-old twin sons, Matteo and Valentino, made their dad laugh by showing off their dance moves.
Martin shared a video of his sons on social media with a caption. “What a beautiful surprise! When my twins jumped on stage with me for the first time in Locarno, Switzerland.”
Fans were excited to see Martin so happy, especially after he and husband Jwan Yosef announced earlier this month that they were getting divorced after six years of marriage. “It was a beautiful moment to always remember,” one fan wrote. Another commented, “The face of happiness on these three is the best!”
Martin and Yosef announced their divorce by releasing a joint statement. “We have decided to end our marriage with love, respect and dignity for our children and honoring what we have experienced as a couple all these wonderful years.”
They continued: “Our greatest desire now is to continue having a healthy family dynamic and a relationship centered on peace and friendship to continue the joint upbringing of our children, preserving the respect and love we have for each other.”
A week after their breakup was official, Martin was interacting with Yosef on social media after Yosef posted photos of himself.
Along with Matteo and Valentino, Ricky Martin has two children he shares with Yosef, a daughter named Lucia, who was born in 2018, and a son named Renn, who was born in 2019.
