Vanessa Bryant and her youngest daughters, 6-year-old Bianka and 4-year-old Capri, got a shoutout online from Shakira when she saw a video of the girls singing to one of her songs at the dinner table.

Bryant posted an adorable Instagram story this week featuring Bianka and Capri performing Shakira’s 2023 hit, “BZRP Music Sessions #53.”

Bryant captioned the video with the words “Se habla español.” In the video, Bianka and Capri are singing many of the song’s Spanish lyrics and moving to the beat. They were also enjoying what looked like some delicious Mexican food. Bryant tagged Shakira in the post. Shakira responded by reposting the video and adding two heart-themed emojis.

In January 2020, Vanessa Bryant’s husband, NBA superstar Kobe Bryant, was killed in a helicopter crash alongside their 13-year-old daughter Gianna. A few days later, Shakira performed at the Super Bowl and said the following when asked about Kobe leading up to the big game.

“Life is so fragile, and that’s why we have to try to live every moment as intensely as we can,” she said at a press conference. “I think we will all be remembering Kobe on Sunday, and we’ll be celebrating life and celebrating diversity in this country.”

Earlier this month, Bianka received some attention from another music superstar, Taylor Swift, when the two embraced at a concert at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Bryant captured the moment and posted it with the caption, “We love you [Taylor Swift].”

If Vanessa Bryant and her daughters Bianka and Capri are taking requests, we’d like to hear Shakira’s “Try Everything” from the Zootopia soundtrack next.
