When Lou Dobbs isn’t saying that the suspicious packages found at the homes and offices of Democratic figures are “fake bombs” or siding with President Donald Trump on immigration, he’s butchering the names of Mexican cities. In an October 23 episode of Fox Business Network’s Lou Dobbs Tonight, the host struggled to properly pronounce the name of Huixtla, a Mexican town in Chiapas.

At the beginning of the episode, Dobbs said, “And our top story tonight, the caravan of mostly Central American immigrants is now in the Mexican city of…” And then he proceeded to sort of mumble his way through the word Huixtla and call it a day.

This probably wouldn’t have happened if the network had people who understood the culture working alongside you, just saying.
