In the last week or so, Will Smith has shared videos of himself in Colombia, where he’s filming his upcoming movie, Gemini Man. While his choreographed dance routine with Nicky Jam went viral, some have also noted that his visit lays bare at the hypocrisy of Colombians. While they readily show love for the famous Hollywood actor, they don’t necessarily hold the country’s Afro-Colombian community in the same esteem. Smith, for his part, is using his class privilege and platform to do something positive in Getsemani, a neighborhood in Cartagena.

The Fresh Prince and the production behind Gemini Man are reportedly gifting Getsemani a park, according to El Universal. The donation comes after the city decided to give Smith a key to the city to show appreciation for promoting Cartagena on social media. Davinson Gaviria, the president of Junta de Acción Comunal de Getsemani, said that before filming, the team behind the movie asked what the community needed. Work on the park should begin sometime in May.
