One of the standout personalities of this season’s La Casa de Los Famosos: All Stars is the iconic Peruvian talk show host Laura Bozzo. So her being the eight contestant eliminated came as a surprising twist. But was she truly ready to go? Remezcla caught up with her just days after leaving the house to find out how she really felt. And please note, all of her answers have been translated from Spanish to English.
“I’m sad, because I couldn’t give what the audience was expecting. I didn’t have a team or people I could connect with,” said Bozzo, known for her loud and straightforward personality. “On top of that, I had a knee injury, so obviously I wasn’t in my best condition, and I think that prevented me from giving everything I usually give to my audience.” This wasn’t her first time going through this experience, as she was a contestant on the second season of La Casa de Los Famosos, being eliminated after 84 days.
Bozzo, who stated at the beginning of the season that she was there to have fun and enjoy herself, was clearly not having the best experience, especially in the last few weeks. Viewers saw her gradually lose interest in the game, often saying she was ready to leave. So, when we asked if her elimination caught her by surprise, she replied, “No, it didn’t surprise me. But it is strange how people like Paulo [Quevedo] and Diego [Soldano], who don’t do anything inside the house, got more votes.”
The Laura en América host shared that she felt completely alone during her time in the house and believes her co-habitants only used her for screen time and their own benefit. “They would say, ‘I love you, Laurita, what do you need?’ I don’t need anything. Just to be treated with respect,” said the TV host. She went on to say that everyone will reach her age someday, and there’s no reason to diminish someone for being older. “It’s a form of discrimination that shouldn’t be allowed.”

Bozzo spent 56 days inside the house. Surely there must have been some good moments. We asked if, despite the overall negative experience, she was able to form any meaningful connections. “I know Luca [Onestini] from Spain, so we have a nice friendship. Also, Manelyk [González] is a friend of mine,” she responded. It seems, then, that Laura didn’t make any new friends this season.
Although the Peruvian show host has been eliminated, she is still the iconic Laura Bozzo, and it’s safe to say she left her mark in La Casa de los Famosos. “I was myself, with my flaws and my bad mood. But what I’m proud of is that I was never fake.”
Now that her time on the show has come to an end, what’s next for La Señorita Laura? Is she ready to retire? “Oh please,” she laughed. “I just signed with Endemol to do a show called Escándalos, we just shot the pilot. I’m not going to retire.” She made it clear: there’s still a lot of Laura Bozzo left. And of course, we couldn’t wrap up our conversation without her iconic phrase: “¡Que pase el desgraciado!”
The next elimination on La Casa de los Famosos: All Stars is on Monday, April 7th, on Telemundo.
