Dei V dishes up Flavorz Pack, a 17-track studio album that builds on his iconic Flavorz brand and invites listeners to savor his music in a new way. The album unfolds in four parts: licorice, chocolate, paleta, and a special bonus track featuring Rauw Alejandro titled “All Night”—showcasing the Puerto Rican artist’s diverse sonic palette.

Each part reveals a different side of Dei V. Licorice welcomes listeners into the Flavorz Pack universe with his signature trap flow. Staying true to his roots, he blends trap and hip-hop into a gritty, raw sound that’s unmistakably his own. Meanwhile, chocolate reveals a softer, more sensual side as he trades his classic malianteo sound for romantiqueo. With paleta, he keeps things sleek and finely tuned, exploring playful R&B influences that further showcase his versatility.

On release day, Dei V was taking it all in. On his way to the barber in Miami, he spoke with Remezcla about what the album means to him.

“I think there was something I still needed to do with Flavorz, which is one of my brands. I released the first EP, Los Flavorz, but I hadn’t released a full-length album for fans. I’ve been taking some time to rest and be a dad, but I wanted to come back strong. I feel like the music I’m releasing now defines me. I feel like I’m a more mature Dei V. I also think the music has leveled up.”

Since his 2023 breakthrough project ¿ Quién es Dei V?, the Puerto Rican artist has steadily cemented his place in Latin trap. The project’s title drew inspiration from a viral video in which a woman asked who Dei V was, seemingly intending to disparage him. Instead, the moment became a turning point in his career, sparking public interest and earning him support from fellow artists. Collaborations with Myke Towers and Jay Wheeler followed, along with a feature on Karol G’s MAÑANA SERA BONITO album through the track “Gatita Gangster.”

Today, Dei V collaborates with some of Latin music’s biggest names. Most recently, he joined Bad Bunny and Omar Courtz on “VeLDÁ,” a standout track from Debí Tirar Más Fotos, which has achieved global success and become his first song to surpass a billion streams.

Having benefited from the support and co-signs that helped propel his career, Dei V is now extending that opportunity to emerging artists. Flavorz Pack brings newcomers Xaed and Galeno into the mix alongside heavy hitters Rauw Alejandro, Wisin, Myke Towers, Kendo Kaponi, Ozuna, and Nicky Jam.

Dei V is determined to show listeners that his artistry extends beyond any one genre or sound.

“I want people to understand that I’m an artist who can make all kinds of music. I’ll always surprise them and give it my all. With every project, I learn a little more about how to put together an album and create a body of work.”

That intention runs through Flavorz Pack. From its distinct sonic chapters to its carefully considered details, the project reflects his desire to offer listeners something beyond the expected. As Dei V explains, “Overall, I feel like music has become monotonous.” With Flavorz Pack, he pushes against that monotony, approaching the album as a complete listening experience rather than simply a collection of tracks.

Ultimately, Flavorz Pack presents Dei V as a multidimensional artist who keeps refining his sound while taking pride in what he delivers to fans.

He’s taking his time, embracing his growth, and making music on his own terms. Above all, he says he “simply wanted to use this project to let them [fans] know that I haven’t gone anywhere, and I’m not going anywhere. We’re going to keep making music that’s better than before and keep putting in the work, just like we always have.”
