Latinx artists have stories to tell and this is their space to do it. Dimelo!, the newest Remezcla video series, takes you deeper into your favorite rising artists’ stories—many of which are being told for the first time. In this first video, sponsored by Target, we feature Kablito, born Karen Freire, who has a knack for risk and experimentation in both her sound and the way she goes about developing it, it turns out. She recently bet on herself, and the rest is history.

“Don’t be defined by others’ expectations of [who] you’re supposed to be,” she says. In telling her story, she hopes you’ll tell yours too. “We’re here to build each other up.”
