Ahead of Karol G’s Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour taking over MetLife Stadium, the “Viajando Por El Mundo” pop-up, powered by Cash App, who is the official tour partner, is taking over High Line Nine Gallery in Chelsea for two days on September 17 and 18. Giving fans another way to pregame before heading out to see La Bichota onstage or, if you didn’t score tickets, a way to feel close to the Colombian star’s Tropicoqueta era.
Named after the song from her fifth album, Tropicoqueta, the “Viajando Por El Mundo” pop-up lets fans imagine visiting all the places she sings about in the track without booking a flight. The pop-up debuted in Los Angeles and recently stopped in El Paso, and will next head to Miami and Dallas, tied to Karol G’s concerts in each city. And now it’s New York’s turn to enjoy.
So, what exactly can you expect? The experience includes getting your passport stamped to enter different installations and photo moments. You can grab a slice of pizza inspired by the lyric about eating pizza in New York, step into a tequila-filled Mexican experience, and take a shot of Karol G’s 200 Copas by Casa Dragones. Channel your inner romantic in a Paris setup featuring the Eiffel Tower. There’s also a Las Vegas-inspired moment nodding to the song’s spontaneous wedding lyric, and a final photo op that transports you to Italy with a Vespa and the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Also, it wouldn’t be a pop-up without some merch to take home, and the Cash App-powered storefront includes a limited-edition T-shirt inspired by the song’s lyrics and destinations.

The pop-up will be open to the public on Thursday, Sept. 17, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET and Friday, Sept. 18, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET at High Line Nine Gallery, located at 507 W. 27th St. in New York City.
