Once again I had the honor of putting together a playlist for Thanksgiving this year, and I’m hoping it helps bring together Latino families divided by our turbulent political reality. Living rooms across the 50 states (and Puerto Rico) will turn into pop-up clubs for the tías, abuelitas, nephews, and that one family member or friend who voted for the orange one.
In this year’s edition of Sanguívin Adobado, I decided to turn the urbano knob up a notch by including more reggeaton and hip-hop for the youth. Why not? It’s our constitutional right to perrear and no one is going to take that away from us.
Happy Sansgiving everyone!
