Yailin La Más Viral is making art out of her past experiences. On June 24, the Dominican rapper and singer released her newest video, “Narcisista,” which appears to capture different stages of her previous relationship with Anuel AA as she sings about a selfish past lover.

The new music video, directed by Rodrigo Films, features Yailin in a red gown with straight black hair, surrounded by what appears to be past versions of the artist. During the video, the camera focuses on each one while Yailin narrates each scene through her heartfelt lyrics. One frame shows a woman receiving roses, balloons, and a teddy bear–much like one of her previous Instagram posts. Another shot shows a woman crying to a friend and another being surrounded by media.

In one scene, a man who looks like her ex-partner Anuel AA is seen arguing with one of the Yailins. But perhaps the most direct reference is a scene of a woman looking at a phone that shows an Anuel look-a-like talking on a live social media video, where the visuals point out that he says: “She is the mother of my daughter, but I am no longer with her.” During the same scene, we see the woman touching her pregnant belly. At the end of the video, we see a different version of Yailin smiling and holding her baby. The real Yailin is seen taking off what looks like a red robe and walking away from the video’s POV.

Yailin La Más Viral recently headlined the inaugural Mujeres Del Movimiento event in New York on June 24. During her live performance of “Narcisista,” she received a banner that read the song’s lyrics: “Real hasta la muerte y te volviste na’,” and tore it apart. Moreover, the singer is also promoting her new baby care products line called Cattleya Babies.
