PHOTOS: Here’s Everything That Went Down at Our Bud Light Barra Centenario Party

The Copa América is over, Chile is on top, and Messi has declared he just can’t take it anymore, but more than anything, we’re still basking in the afterglow of our dope-ass party. Remezcla and #ElBudLightParty teamed up to create Barra Centenario to fulfill all your fútbol fantasies with an enormous installation at Skylight Clarkson Square in NYC’s South Village. Astro-turf lined the floor inside, where more than 2,000 attendees watched the third place Colombia vs. USA match projected on the walls while sipping Bud Light from one of two enormous bars. Elsewhere, partygoers put their soccer skills to the test on our on-site mini-cancha. In fact, we were joined by El Tri legends Claudio Suarez and Jorge Campos, who made sure to demonstrate the difference between us and the pros.

Outside, we got our grub on joined by New York Latin staples: arepas from Caracas, Mofon-Go serving plátano realness, tacos from Fonda, Nuchas Empanadas, and La Newyorkina with the iced sweets. And, of course, we projected the game outside, too, so no one missed a thing while waiting.

We know you come to Remezcla parties expecting music, so we made sure to deliver. We kicked the party off with sets from Que Bajo?!’s own Geko Jones, Riobamba, Princess Nokia, and Venus X, but it was Puerto Rico’s own Tego Calderón who provided the Half Time Show. Scroll through photos above.
