Actress America Ferrera (Real Women Have Curves) and Oscar-nominee Margot Robbie (I, Tonya) were photographed on Monday (June 27) rollerblading together on the set of Barbie, a film by Oscar-nominated director Greta Gerwig (Lady Bird).

The duo was joined by co-star Ariana Greenblatt (In the Heights), who is half Puerto Rican. All three of them wore neon yellow skates with hot pink wheels and laces. Along with her bright footwear, Ferrera wore dark pants, a brown belt, and a red, white, and light blue mixed-patterned shirt rolled up to her elbows.

A video was also captured of the trio taking direction from Gerwig and then shooting a scene where they’re all skating at Venice Beach. At one point, Robbie’s Barbie yells out, “Ready for fun?!” and Ferrera’s character, which has not been revealed yet, responds in the affirmative.

Other Barbie cast members include Simu Liu (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings), Kate McKinnon (Bombshell), Issa Rae (Insecure), Will Ferrell (The Other Guys), and Oscar nominee Ryan Gosling (La La Land), who plays Barbie’s love interest, Ken.

Gosling and Robbie turned heads recently when photos popped up on social media of them dressed in neon outfits and sun visors that resembled the 1994 Barbie doll known as Hot Skatin’ Barbie.

Most recently, America Ferrera can be seen in the Apple TV+ limited series We Crashed alongside Oscar winners Jared Leto (Dallas Buyers Club) and Anne Hathaway (Les Misérables). She will make her feature directorial debut with I Am Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter, which is based on Erika L. Sánchez’s bestselling novel of the same name and adapted by screenwriter Linda Yvette Chávez (Gentefied).
