There are other actors in Guy Ritchie’s Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre, but we only have eyes for Aubrey Plaza. And to be honest, that’s sort of a general mood for many. Plaza is the kind of captivating actress you can’t stop staring at, whether she’s playing April Ludgate in Parks and Recreation, a comedic role that was made even better by her deadpan demeanor, or Riley Johnson in Happiest Season, one of our favorite holiday movies.
The film follows super-spy Orson Fortune (Jason Statham) and a team of the best operatives as they track down the sale of a deadly new weapons technology. It features some big-name actors in the cast, like Hugh Grant, Cary Elwes, Bugzy Malone, and Josh Hartnett, so it’s likely not all about Plaza’s character, but we can pretend – particularly considering the first-look pictures, which show Plaza looking fabulous, and which garnered just the right response from the internet.
And yes, the cast features other pretty people. But they get swooned over on the regular, so allow us to start the trend of swooning over Plaza first. She absolutely deserves it. And if you don’t believe it, she can give you an April Ludgate look. And probably, if these pictures are to be believed, kick your butt for even daring to doubt her.
Operation Fortune: Ruse de guerre will be released in 2022.
