Sony Studios’ Metal Gear Solid adaptation has just announced Oscar Isaac to take on the role of Solid Snake, and the internet is thirsting hard.
The long awaited film adaptation of the video game created by Hideo Kojima and published by Konami broke the news via Deadline earlier today. The video game debuted in 1987 and follows Snake, “a soldier who infiltrates a nuclear weapons facility to neutralize the terrorist threat from Foxhound, a renegade special forces unit.” The game itself has been critically acclaimed, particularly for it’s cinematic style storytelling.
Back in 2019, the character of Snake hit viral meme fame when a fan posted a mock tweet and said “I’m trying to sneak around but I’m dummy thicc.”
Snake is best known having a rather “robust” fundillo and of course, the internet couldn’t help themselves imagining Oscar Isaac: Dummy Thicc Papi Chulo.
But what’s really getting everyone going? That tight suit Snake wears throughout. Let me tell you, I. AM. READY.
The film has no release date thus far, but after the year we’ve all had, one can only see this as a gift.
