We’re still a couple of months away from its anticipated premiere on Amazon Prime, but viewers recently got their first official look at the new cinematic version of Cinderella. Singer Camila Cabello — who will be portraying the title princess in the movie, marking her film debut — shared the new trailer on social media.

“This was one of the most magical experiences of my life,” wrote Cabello on Twitter. “I can’t wait for you to see it.”

Written and directed by Kay Cannon, who penned all three Pitch Perfect movies, the modern Cinderella will also include plenty of singing and take some creative license with the iconic story popularized from the original 1950 animated Disney classic. For example, in this version, there isn’t a fairy godmother. Instead, Billy Porter (Pose) plays the Fab G, a genderless fairy godparent.

Porter’s Fab G is one of the characters featured in the first teaser trailer for the film — dressed in an elaborate belted gold gown with a magic wand in hand.

Cinderella is introduced at the start of the teaser as an aspiring fashion designer who has opened her own dress shop named Dresses by Ella. “Life outside this basement starts right now,” Cabello’s character says right before breaking into song.

Along with Cabello and Porter, the cast of Cinderella includes Idina Menzel (Frozen) as Cinderella’s stepmother Vivian, Pierce Brosnan (Die Another Day) as King Rowan, Minnie Driver (Good Will Hunting) as Queen Beatrice, and John Mulaney (TV’s Big Mouth) and James Corden (Into the Woods) as a pair of footmen who transform into mice.

Cabello is one of two princesses most recently announced to be portrayed by Latina actresses. Last month, Rachel Zegler was cast as Snow White in an upcoming live-action remake of the 1937 animated classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.

Cinderella, starring Camila Cabello, premieres September 3 on Amazon Prime.
