Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness star Xochitl Gomez has joined Season 32 of Dancing with the Stars. The Marvel star, who plays America Chavez aka Miss America in the MCU, will star in the next season of the show, which is set to premiere September 26th at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. The season is set to simulcast live on Disney+ and will be available the next day on Hulu.

The entire cast was announced during Good Morning America, in a video that, coincidentally, got Xochitl’s name entirely wrong, pronouncing it as “sochi,” instead of “sow cheel,” with is the actual pronunciation. The origins of the name are Nahuatl/Aztec, and it is a rather common name in Central Mexico. Gomez’s father was born in Mexico.

“I’m coming to you from the Multiverse to the dance floor,” 17-year-old Gomez, the youngest contestant in this season of Dancing With the Stars, says in the intro video as images of her MCU escapades during Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness give way to her in a sparkly champagne gown. She will be partnered with Val Chmerkovskiy.

Xochitl Gomez is not the only Latina in the cast, with Venezuelan-American singer and social media personality Lele Pons also joining Dancing with the Stars for Season 32. “Buenos días, América. Let’s cha-cha,” Pons says in the intro video. She will be partnered with Brandon Armstrong.

There are fourteen contestants in Season 32 of Dancing With the Stars
