IMDB made official what most of us already know: Eiza González is a fan favorite. The authoritative source on movies and television has bestowed González with an IMDB “Fan Favorite” STARmeter Award. This award’ charts page views across its entire platform of more than 200-million monthly visitors. That is a tremendous amount of visitors, and most seem to be interested in González.

The actress has been buzzing lately: She had all eyes on her — and Simu Liu’s eyes — at the Met Gala. She also graced the new campaign with Bulgari as first Latina ambassador for the company in North America.

González’s is set to star as María Félix in her upcoming biopic. Félix was known as the Mexican Queen of Cinema with just under 50 acting credits to her name. The project is in production now.

As for the IMDB “Fan Favorite” STARmeter Award, González says, “I didn’t have an agent when I started my career, I only had my IMDbPro page, so I owe my career to IMDbPro – my mom wrote her phone number and email address on my page and that is how I got my first audition.”

This award solidifies her as a fan favorite, but who does the actress consider a personal role model? Well, she has named Salma Hayek and Guillermo del Toro as two of her favorites.

González’s award is the first in continuing coverage of Our Heritage Month on IMDB. Upcoming content includes videos and galleries from “Hispanic and Latino talent” through October 15.
