Eiza González (Ambulance) is joining Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad) in Ash, a sci-fi thriller from record producer, rapper, composer, and filmmaker Steven Ellison (V/H/S/99) who is known best by his stage name, Flying Lotus.
“We are building something fresh and unique with Ash and having Eiza and Aaron in this world just makes it flames,” Flying Lotus told Deadline. “They are absolute magic makers, brave and equally inspiring. All that to say… We ‘bout to kill this s–t.”
According to Deadline, González and Paul are replacing Tessa Thompson and Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the lead roles.
