Bad Bunny’s career has long been expanding outside of just making albums. The Puerto Rican singer, who is still perhaps better known for his music, is currently doing a 30-date concert residency in his native Puerto Rico, titled No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí (I Don’t Want To Leave Here). And, of course, he’s dipped his toes into acting as well.
In fact, at this point, his acting career is getting quite extensive, now being credited as “Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio.”
He started with a supporting role as Arturo “Kitty” Páez, a new member of the Tijuana cartel, in the Netflix series Narcos: Mexico. Later, he had a very brief role in a flashback scene during Fast & Furious 9, and then a more extensive time in front of the camera in Bullet Train and Cassandro. In the upcoming Happy Gilmore 2, starring Adam Sandler once again, he portrays Sandler’s caddie. And he’s set to join Austin Butler and Zoë Kravitz in the upcoming film Caught Stealing, set to hit theaters on August 29.
But what is his role in Caught Stealing about? In the movie, Austin Butler’s character of Hank Thompson gets caught in the middle of a motley crew of threatening gangsters. He just doesn’t know why. Bad Bunny plays a Puerto Rican, “Colorado,” who the star describes as someone who is “doing whatever he has to do to always gain more power and position.”

What is the character looking for? In this exclusive clip he shared: “He’s just doing his job, looking for what Hank has. I am the one that has the courage and the skill to find it.” For the rest, you’re gonna have to tune in.

Caught Stealing will be in theaters August 29, and stars Austin Butler, Regina King, Zoë Kravitz, Matt Smith, Liev Schreiber, Vincent D’Onofrio, Griffin Dunne, Benito A Martínez Ocasio, and Carol Kane.
