There’s the $1.5 million dollar platinum and diamond earrings, the $195,000 dollar diamond pendant, and the $130,000 diamond and platinum diamond ring. That’s what you get to don if you are up for two Golden Globes in 2021–at least if you are Anya Taylor-Joy.

The actress was draped in jewels from Tiffany for her biggest night to date in what looks to be the beginning of a very long career. The necklace alone had over 120 diamonds. The emerald-cut earrings were over 7 carats each. But, let’s face it, while the jewels were nice, it was the dress that would crown the Miami-born actress a solid place in the Best Dressed lists for this year’s ceremony.

So, let’s talk about the dress. The 24-year-old actress wore a green Dior Haute Couture gown.
But, don’t get it twisted, it’s not the green of Kermit the Frog or the traditional St. Patrick’s Day green. It was a green kissed by the Gods. A green seen in spring meadows of our dreams. It was a green fit for a Queen. Frankly, not even the 8k cameras or 12MP phones could capture it’s magic. Though, it wasn’t for lack of trying–several instagram videos were posted by Luxurylaw. Stylist Law Roach (LuxuryLaw) would document much of the evening in the glorious gown worn by Taylor-Joy.

That was outfit no. 1.

For the after show interviews the actress would say adios to the green and well, hello to a heavenly ever so soft steel blue Dior dress. The custom designed gown took over 150 hours to craft. And it too was hard to capture the dress’s elegance.

The Queen’s Gambit actress was up for two Globes last night. The Latina actress would win the Golden Globe for Actress In A Miniseries or Motion Picture for TV. Her other nom was for her role in Emma, which she would lose to Rosamund Pike. But really we would be shocked if anyone remembered anything but the clothes and the carats from Taylor-Joy.

Taylor-Joy has two projects on the horizon including Edgar Wright’s The Last Night in Soho and the Latina has reportedly signed onto the Untitled David O. Russel project with Robert Deniro, Margot Robbie, and Christian Bale.
