Actor Mario Lopez’s stock is rising high with the recent release of the Saved By the Bell reboot, but it might be his “chicken stock” that’s going to stratospheric levels with the release of his newest project.

In A Recipe for Seduction, an upcoming Lifetime original “mini-movie” parody, Lopez stars as Harland Sanders, best known by his industry moniker Colonel Sanders, the founder of the fast-food chicken restaurant chain Kentucky Fried Chicken.

The “mini-movie,” which is presented by KFC, follows Jessica, a young heiress, who falls in love with her family’s new chef, much to the chagrin of her mother who has already handpicked a man for her to marry. But with Lopez strutting around the property flaunting his Colonel Sandersesque goatee, retro glasses and Western-style tie, what’s a girl to do besides lick her fingers?

Although the trailer that dropped today (Dec. 7) looks like a sketch Funny or Die would produce, it seems like this “mini-movie” is actually going to broadcast on TV next week. During the trailer, Jessica is seen enamored by Harland. “He has a secret recipe that’s gonna change the world,” she says.

Caught in a love triangle, Jessica has some difficult choices to make—like regular or extra crispy? Will Colonel Sanders find true love or will his position in the pecking order relegate him to a mere side dish?

A Recipe for Seduction premieres on Lifetime Dec. 13 at 12pm ET.
