The studies have shown that Latinx audiences are watching television, and while they aren’t en masse gravitating to English-language shows about Latinos, like the CW’s Jane the Virgin, they’re a large swath of the television market. And with streaming giants Netflix and Hulu easily catering to Spanish-speaking audiences’ the time is ripe for a show to try to bring both groups together.

Well, it looks like the folks at Telemundo, E! and Universo, are trying to do just that with the creation of Latinx Now! Premiering on October 3, Latinx Now! is being advertised as the first entertainment program aimed at “bicultural audiences across [the] U.S. and Latin America.” Produced in both English and Spanish, the talk show sees hosts Christian Acosta, Nastassja Bolivar, and Claudia Vergara cover “the latest news stories in entertainment” and interview celebrities like Luis Fonsi, Kevin Hart, and Becky G. The show aims to “address Hispanic-passion points and interests” while giving “crossover appeal.”

Your best bet to watch Latinx Now! is via streaming, courtesy of either Telemundo’s or E! Online’s YouTube Channel. Viewers will also be able to see select clips on E!’s website, Telemundo.com and Universo’s YouTube channel. If you receive Universo via cable you can watch the show live. Spanish-language versions will air Wednesdays on Universo while English-language versions will air the same day on E! News’ YouTube.

Immediately hearing how to find certain versions of the show sounds daunting and it’ll be interesting to see how the various network entities try to sell this. The hosts are labeled as “renowned influencers” so it seems evident they’re trying to cater to those who strictly watch YouTube, and whether actual cable viewers watch it is irrelevant. A show like this definitely has appeal, especially with so many people living in multilingual homes and communities. A show catering to Latino news a la E! Entertainment has merit, but will audiences make the time to plan their day around a YouTube feed?
