Liza Colón-Zayas Announcing 2026 Emmy Nominations — Here’s How to Watch

After winning her first-ever Emmy Award in 2024 for her role as Tina Marrero on The Bear, Liza Colón-Zayas is announcing the 2026 Emmy nominations.
Colón-Zayas, who just finished her run on the final season of The Bear, will be joined by fellow Emmy-winner Jeff Hiller alongside Television Academy Chair Cris Abrego. And the 78th Emmy Awards nominations will be announced and streamed live from the Wolf Theatre in the Academy’s Saban Media Center.
The Primetime Emmy Awards celebrate outstanding achievement in the television industry. And you can watch the nominations live on YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram on the official Television Academy accounts. The live stream will begin on Wednesday, July 8th at 8:30 a.m. PT/11:30 a.m. ET.
As for who’s hosting, Law & Order: SVU’s Mariska Hargitay is! This is the Emmy-winning actress’s first big hosting gig. And it makes sense that NBC would pick one of their icon’s to celebrate its 100th anniversary.
The 78th Emmy Awards will be broadcast live on Monday, September 14th at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and stream live on Peacock from the Peacock Theater in LA. And the Creative Arts Emmy Awards will take place on Saturday, September 5th and Sunday, September 6th.
