Netflix debuted the first footage from Wednesday Season 2, and it looks like we’re going to have an eventful season on our hands. The five-second clip, which was part of a Next on Netflix video to showcase the streamer’s upcoming titles, shows Tyler Galpin at Willow Hill Psychiatric Hospital and also features Jenna Ortega’s Wednesday showing up in his room. If we can even call where Tyler is a room.

At the end of season 1, it was revealed that Tyler was the monster hyde and that his mother was one as well. However, he was under the control of Marilyn the whole time. After the revelation, Tyler was arrested and sent to Willow Hill Psychiatric Hospital. And they’re clearly treating him as someone dangerous, with the footage showing a shirtless Tyler, with his hands shackled to what looks like a metal wall.

The clip then focuses on Wednesday, who seems to be standing in front of him, as Tyler realizes she’s there. With their last interaction being him almost killing her, it’s easy to assume that she’s there because she needs his help.

Jenna Ortega, who plays Wednesday, has previously talked about how the episodes in the 8-episode season 2 feel more like movies. “In the first season, we had episodes that really stood out visually, like the dance episode was a really big one for people, and that setting was very particular and it felt like Prom Night, a little bit, or Carrie,” she said. “Every episode [of season 2] that I’ve read so far is like that.”

Wednesday season 1 was so successful that rumors surfaced that Netflix was interested in a Wednesday spinoff that would focus on Fred Armisen’s Uncle Fester. There has been no confirmation regarding that possible spinoff yet. Season 2 of the show is also set to feature new faces, like Steve Buscemi and Lady Gaga.
