Netflix knows exactly what it is doing by revamping the iconic telenovela Rebelde. The show was a beloved part of the childhood of millions of Latine children. The show was more than just a show, it was an extension of our identity that manifested into a wildly successful musical group. How many afternoons were spent singing the songs and jumping around the living room?
It is an exciting time for Rebelde fans because we are getting new music from Netflix’s latest take on the telenovela. “Pensando en ti” is the latest single from the upcoming Rebelde project and it’s getting fans so excited.
The animated music video is a psychedelic journey through the high school hallways and the minds of some of the students. We get a small taste of who the new characters are while enjoying a colorful display unfolding before us. Tbh, it feels like a late-night Adult Swim moment.
We are so here for the original music that this exciting project will create. There’s no doubt that Netflix will be able to create a stellar soundtrack for the group of friends and their sure-to-be wild storylines. You can’t have lackluster music if you are going to pull off a telenovela and that’s just a fact.
