Disney+ has released new Star Wars content just in time for May the 4th.
First, the animated series Star Wars: The Bad Batch follows the clones of the Bad Batch, which were first introduced in The Clone Wars, as they go on a new mission in a post-Clone War era.
Puerto Rican actor Freddie Prinze Jr. voices the character of Caleb Dume, a Jedi apprentice who was featured in the animated series Star Wars Rebels as Kanan Jarrus.
Also, on the slate for Disney+ is the animated short film The Force Awakens From Its Nap starring The Simpsons’ youngest family member Maggie Simpson. In the short, Maggie goes on a quest for her stolen pacifier. For those Simpsons super fans, the inclusion of Maggie’s baby arch nemesis Gerald Samson as Darth Maul should come as no surprise.
In Star Wars: Biomes, fans can get a virtual look at some of the film franchise’s most iconic locations like Tatooine and Sorgan. The 18-minute tour is a peaceful way to spend part of your Star Wars Day as you float through the sky and watch all the ongoings down below.
Finally, in Star Wars: Vehicle Flythroughs, viewers can explore the interiors and exteriors of the Millennium Falcon, Imperial Star Destroyer and other ships from the franchise.
Remember, young Jedi, when you get inside the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon and think about all the years of cinematic history that’s happened inside that small space, try to contain yourself. May the Force be with you.
