For months, many have hoped that somehow, some way One Day at a Time would make its return. After Netflix canceled the Cuban family sitcom in March, it was unclear whether the show would have a chance to come back. And then today, showrunner Gloria Calderón Kellett made a surprising announcement: “WE’RE BACK!”

“Thanks to every fan who made trend worldwide, ONE DAY AT A TIME is heading to POP TV & we couldn’t be more excited!” she wrote on Twitter. “We have many more stories to tell about & we can’t wait to share them with you!”

Pop TV, a CBS Corporation-owned cable network, is picking up the show, according to Vulture. Pop has ordered 13 episodes, which will premiere in 2020.

The first three seasons will remain on Netflix, and the series going forward will be considered a Pop original. After the series runs on Pop, season four might air on CBS, sometime in 2020.

Season 4 will see the family dealing with several changes, including Elena entering her senior year of high school, Penelope becoming a nurse practitioner, and more. “And it’s 2020,” Calderón Kellet told Deadline, “so we will be discussing I’m sure some version of politics as it affects this family.”
