If there is a way to overdose on actor Pedro Pascal, it might just happen before the year is over. Another project for The Mandalorian actor has just been announced. Pascal will star in The Uninvited, the feature directorial debut of Nadia Conners (The 11th Hour).

According to Deadline, the film, which is currently in production in Los Angeles, will follow a “stranger [who] interrupts a party, provoking a comedy of errors, deep reckonings and a reordering of life.” Pascal’s co-star will include Elizabeth Reaser (Impeachment: American Crime Story), Lois Smith (The French Dispatch), and Walton Goggins (The Hateful Eight), who is also the director’s husband.

“To have such an incredibly talented cast, with strong chemistry, and dynamic producers, on my directorial debut is really a dream come true,” said Conners.

The Uninvited is being produced by Rosie Fellner (The Trip to Italy), Ari Taboada (The Birthday Cake), and Carlos Cuscó (Changing the Game). “Nadia has crafted a wonderful script and what a pleasure to see her bring it to life with spectacular performances from our incredible cast,” Cuscó said.

The news comes on the heels of another Pascal announcement.

Pedro Pascal recently boarded the ensemble cast of the film Freaky Tales by co-director Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden, both of whom helmed the superhero movie Captain Marvel. According to Deadline, Freaky Tales is about Fleck’s experience growing up in Oakland during the 1980s and “is comprised of four interconnected stories each featuring distinct characters, real-life locations and noteworthy historical events (some real, some imagined).”
