There’s no limit to where Pedro Pascal is willing to take Din Djarin. And that seems to include the big screen. In a conversation with Variety, Pascal discussed how a movie seems like the obvious next step for his character and confessed that even though he has no information about the future, he would consider the possibility a dream come true.

“I love going to the movies. Going back and just being able to be with an audience again is one of the most important things to me. If that happens with The Mandalorian, all I can say is… please!” Pascal added, even while noting that, perhaps, he’s had his fill of dreams coming true.

The role of Din Djarin was one of those. The character, which is set to return for a third season of the show in February 2023, has consistently ranked as the most-watched Disney+ show, with Mando and Baby Yoda, becoming not just internet sensations, but the subjects of many a meme and a fair amount of think pieces. The second season of the show saw the pair – who have been the focus of the first two seasons – separated, as Grogu (Baby Yoda’s real name) went off to become Luke’s apprentice.

However, both Pascal and his tiny animatronic adopted kid made an appearance in the first season of The Book of Boba Fett, which saw them reunite before the new season of The Mandalorian. The aforementioned third season will see Din embark on a journey to Mandalore, where he will go up against Bo-Katan Kryze (Katie Sackhoff), who is looking to reclaim the throne of Mandalore, and the Darksaber Din holds.

After that, it’s anybody’s guess. But one thing’s for sure: just like Baby Yoda, we’d follow Pascal anywhere, and that includes the big screen.

The Mandalorian Seasons 1 and 2 are now streaming on Disney+. Season 3 is set to premiere in February 2023.
